Job Purpose:
You will work with an inter-disciplinary team as the focal point for advocacy, media, communication and resource mobilization strategies for the office and the programme. You would assist in giving the most vulnerable a voice through advocacy of Sub Regional Programme Outcomes and publicizing impact results of UNFPA.
Qualification and Experience:
Your Education
An advanced (Master’s) university degree in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Social Sciences or related field.
Your Experience
- Minimum of 2 years progressive professional experience at a middle level in a national/international development, health and/or gender programme related to UNFPA mandate
- Demonstrated experience of working in the area of corporate communications
